Other federal assistance (i.e., other than direct expenditures or obligations) consistsof the sum of direct loans, guaranteed loans, and insurance payments from the federal government. Data come from the Census Bureau's annual Consolidated Federal Funds Report and represent funds for the federal fiscal year ending September 30. Data are available for counties and municipalities.
